Imagine looking out your window and seeing the cold, grey and frosty scene of winter … but inside, on your own kitchen table, is a colorful bouquet of tulips grown just up the road. This winter we are offering a small inaugural launch of our Winter Tulip CSA. Each week of the Winter CSA includes a lovely bunch of tulips grown here at Brook and Blossom Farm in Pomfret.
WHO:
Anyone who loves flowers, even in the winter!
WHAT:
A weekly bouquet of fresh, local tulips to add beauty and joy to your home this winter
WHERE:
Tulips will be grown on Brook and Blossom Farm in Pomfret.
Bouquet pick up locations include:
Woody’s Mercantile (Woodstock: Tuesdays 10am-5pm)
Norwich Public Library (Norwich: Tuesdays 10:45am-5:30pm)
WHEN:
8 Weeks. Late-January through mid-March (exact dates tbd)
COST:
$285
Please note: This first Winter Tulip CSA is intentionally small in scale. This means that the number of spaces for the CSA is very limited. It also means that we are only able to offer two pick up locations for the Winter Tulip CSA: Woody’s Mercantile (In Woodstock) and Norwich Public Library (In Norwich).
We know that having only two pick up locations is not ideal, and won’t work for everyone who is interested. For that we apologize. We hope to learn lots this first year and offer more tulips and more pick up locations in the future.
